Backend Engineer Building Reliable Software That Solves Real Problems

I'm an engineer who builds products, not just someone who writes code or follows tutorials.

My journey started in Biomedical Engineering, where I developed a deep appreciation for complex systems and problem-solving. That analytical mindset naturally transitioned into software engineering, where I found my true passion: architecting robust backend systems from the ground up.

I don't just build in isolation. As an undergraduate I ran Paxx, an ecommerce platform that scaled to over 300+ daily active users, working as part of a 7+ person team through aggressive growth. I've handled a live production incident on that platform. An authentication bug affecting all of those users and fixed it in real time. That's where I learned what it actually means to build something people depend on, not just something that works in development.

I also build because I see real problems. Quukr exists because my HOD kept complaining about student union handovers with no proper financial records and mismanaged funds. So I built a transparent financial ledger platform to fix that. My final-year project, a maternal and child healthcare system, came directly out of my biomedical engineering background and the reasons that gave me to build something that actually helps.

Currently, I'm the Founder and Lead Engineer at Quukr. When I'm not writing code, I'm usually exploring new backend patterns or thinking about how to optimize database queries.
